Commercial Real Estate Projects Honored At Cape Fear CREW Awards

A Wilmington commercial real estate group on Thursday announced the winners of its Awards of Excellence during the program's fifth annual ceremony.

Cape Fear Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW) revealed the projects and individuals who earned the top prizes during a lunch event attended by nearly 300 at the Wilmington Convention Center.

"This year’s field of submissions and finalists exceeded our expectations and the level of complexity and attention to detail on each was
extraordinary," said Julie Dixon of Live Oak Bank, who is president of Cape Fear CREW this year, in a release.

The presenting partner for the event was Live Oak Bank.

"We share a passion for this community, and I think what's interesting to me as I was reflecting on this is what comes with that passion is also responsibility," said Huntley Garriott, president of Live Oak Bank, in remarks before the awards presentation. "Commercial real estate sits in the intersection of economic development and community development, and you all see this every day."

The winners were as follows, with descriptions of the projects that were shared at Thursday's event:
